Within the framework of BLADE2CIRC, the exploitation of project results is a key step to ensure that research outputs can be transformed into real solutions for the wind energy sector. As the partner leading exploitation activities, INCOTEC is currently coordinating the technology assessment of the prioritised Key Exploitable Results (KERs) together with the technical partners.
This process aims to better understand the technological value of each result and its potential for future exploitation. Following the identification and categorisation of the KERs, the consortium is now focusing on a deeper analysis of their technical and innovation potential. In particular, the work addresses key questions such as:

- What technical progress does each result represent?
- How does it differ from existing solutions?
- What still needs to be validated before moving closer to exploitation?
To support this collaborative assessment, INCOTEC has developed dedicated MIRO boards for the selected KERs. These digital workspaces allow partners to jointly review, discuss and validate the most relevant aspects of each result. The analysis is structured around two main dimensions.
1. Technical assessment. This includes the validation of the need addressed by each KER, the current state of the art, the proposed technical solution, the added value compared to existing approaches, the level of innovation, and the remaining technical challenges that need to be solved.
2. Market, competitive and IPR assessment. This dimension focuses on understanding the positioning of each KER in the market, identifying relevant competitors or alternative solutions, evaluating the level of competitive advantage, and analysing potential intellectual property (IPR) or other protectable assets. This feedback phase is a crucial step within BLADE2CIRC, ensuring that the exploitation strategy is grounded in solid technical evidence, market awareness and the collective knowledge generated by the consortium.
The insights gathered through this process will contribute to refining the value assessment of the prioritised KERs and will support the next steps towards competitive validation, IPR strategy definition and future uptake pathways. Step by step, BLADE2CIRC continues moving from research towards real circular innovation opportunities for the wind energy sector.
